At French Lab Designs, I create innovative spaces through my signature blend of personality-driven design, thorough yet thoughtful process, and a dose of je ne sais quoi “it just works” aesthetic.
French Lab Designs was born from a true dichotomy—founder Megan’s analytical-yet-creative mind. Deviating from her six-year career in medicine and medical sales (and after designing and building her own personal home in 2017), her passion for interior design came to the forefront, and FLD was founded. There’s something special to her about the switch from a fulfilling corporate career, to being a stay at home mom, to creating something for herself (that brings beauty and function into the world of others as well). FLD's namesake? Megan's two dogs—a frenchie (Chapo) and a chocolate lab (Moose).
Megan brings a certain je ne sais quoi charm, a cheeky sense of humor, and an eye for delightfully unconventional design decisions to each project—and her clients love how she’s able to curate their space based on their unique personalities (with an expert-level, meticulous execution that could only come from someone with a scientific background). Call it an innovative approach to design (or a space that somehow “just works”), French Lab—and Megan’s design eye—is anything but cookie-cutter.
